This presentation will show how students can become the designers of their own carnival to develop collaboration and business skills while showing off their creative talents. Using mathematics and technology classes, as well as the engineering design process learned in science class, lessons on probability, coding, algebra, geometry, and science have given students empowerment in their learning while becoming confident problem solvers. Presenters will show how this project can teach students science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills as students create carnival games by using a 3D-Printer to code, print, and build their own games. Students were tasked with designing a carnival game given business parameters and goals. The students then presented their games and math findings during a Carnival Day when students throughout the school came to play the carnival games and learn about math.
