Is it possible to prepare for the jobs of tomorrow—today? What experiences can a district or school integrate across grades K-5 that will foster students to: Think Critically, Communicate Clearly, Work Collaboratively, Embrace Culture, Develop Creativity and Utilize Connectivity. Connetquot Innovative STEM Learning Experiences provide equitable K-5 opportunities that establish the foundation for developing the necessary skills important in Engineering (NYS P-12 Science Learning Engineering Standards & Practice) and Computer Science Education. This session includes an overview and structure of the program, and break out time to speak with the teachers to engage in actual activities. Experiences include Coding with unplugged activities, Engineering with Lego and Lego WeDo 2.0, Robotics with Ozobots, Rocket Science, Computer Programming Makey Makey with Kidoyo Hatch (Scratch).
